When the Tree Cannot Come Down Through the Yard
Some removals are too large, too close, or too unpredictable for a conventional fell. A mature tree leaning over a roof, a storm-broken trunk hung beside a house, or a tall pine wedged between a garage and a power line has nowhere safe to land. Crane-assisted tree removal lets Sawdust Savage Arbor Co. lift those sections clear of the structure instead of dropping them through the lawn.
Why a Crane A crane is the right call when size, lean, or location would put the wood on a house, a fence, or a line.
• Safer control: Each section is rigged and lifted, so a heavy limb is not left to swing into the property. • Less impact on the yard: Pieces travel up and out instead of being dragged across lawns, gardens, and driveways. • A quicker job: Planned lifts move the wood in fewer steps, so the work is finished and the site is opened back up sooner.

How a Crane Removal Works
- Assessment: We look at the tree, everything it could hit, and whether the crane can be set up. Tight driveways, slopes, and overhead lines all change the plan.
- Rigging: The climber secures each piece so it can be lifted under control.
- Piece-by-piece lifts: The tree comes apart from the top down. The crane carries each section away from the house and sets it where it can be worked up.
- Ground crew: The crew on the ground cuts, stacks, and keeps the landing area clear while the lift is underway.
- Cleanup: When the tree is down, we handle the brush and wood so the site is left in order.
Near Homes, Lines, and Tight Spaces This work is for trees that sit over houses and other structures, crowd a fence line, or stand where there is no open place to fell them in one piece. If a tree is touching a power line, do not approach it. Call your utility provider first, then call us so we can coordinate the removal once the line is safe to work around.
Licensed, Insured, and Local Crane removal is technical work. We are licensed and insured, and we serve Rochester, Zumbro Falls, and the surrounding communities of southeast Minnesota.
